“It Don’t Come Easy” is a song by Ringo Starr, a member of The Beatles. After listening to it and watching the video, you may be surprised at it. Here’s my take on it.

First, the title of this song is so true: things don’t come easy. Just like the song says about the future never coming easy, so it goes with every day life. That’s why a person has to take it one day at a time.

Second, the song goes on to say that the blues don’t come easy. Well, that is true, otherwise, you couldn’t call them the blues. This is particularly true with life as well with playing the blues on guitar. Just imagine playing the blues on a piano in the winter- the blues don’t come easy.

Thirdly, as the song goes, we learn that trust don’t come easy. In fact, we find out it has to be earned. And sometimes the price is too high, so you never gain the trust of someone. Much suffering can go into earning trust- just like learning to play the blues on a piano in the winter.

After all is said, my experience is the best things don’t come easy. We all have to work hard if we want to be successful in whatever endeavor we choose in life. Not only that, like the song says, we have to suffer to earn trust, which can take a long time to earn. However, everything seems to be difficult these days, so it better be worth all the sacrifices and suffering is all I can say.

Anyways, I liked this song. It was straight forward about how difficult some things can be to get. Also, the video was kind of goofy, but it was fun to watch. It’s an old song, too, but it still sounds good. I recommend a watch and listen.
