Quest For Fire is a great movie because it poses lots of unanswered questions. For instance, what were the Neanderthal? Were they an earlier model of human that was discontinued by God- like some past car model? Why do we carry some of their DNA? And why did they disappear some 40, 000 years ago, according to fossil evidence and carbon 14 dating. The fact is undeniable: Neanderthal existed.

But here’s the thing about evolution, for me. Evolution is said to be a process that takes as long as it takes. That forever into the future is forever into the past too. And that somewhere along that time line we appeared- for as infinitely as long as that was. But given all this, if it all comes down to that’s why we are here ”evolution”, then what kind of life or purpose is that? Cause if this is all that there is, we are already dead in my opinion. And always were. At the least, if evolution holds, we’re all insane anyways.
