Who doesn’t love a scary movie. Especially one about a family line of Spanish Inquisition torturers for the Catholic Church. Not only that, there’s a mansion, beautiful women, and an eccentric Vincent Price who exposes real life horror. It’s a good one.

A young lawyer arrives at a bleak castle to pay respects to his dead sister in the middle of nowhere. It’s almost evening, and he has nowhere to lodge. With desperation at his heels, will he find his sister or be left in the cold air of night.

A final point about the ending where the young man is about to be cut in half. There are numerous dark figures shrouded on the wall in the background who approach when he’s about to die. I bet lots of people see the same dark figures approaching when they are are to die, too.
