Billie Eilish’s My Future has a great picture and song. It looks to have deep inspiration.
In the safety and security of our backyard on a warm evening, who doesn’t look up at the moon and wonder what their life will turn out to be in the future? You could be just a five-year-old or an adult thinking these thoughts.
That being said, you could be dead by the weekend, next week, next month, or next year. Or maybe, you’ll live a long life. Nobody really knows. Only time will tell, uncertainty.
But one thing I am sure of is some people do have a wonderful life and some will die on the weekend.
With that, we control little when it comes to life. At best, all we can do is control our actions and reactions to things. The rest is out of our hands.
It really does make for a strange life when you’re struggling to make sense of it all.
What do you think? A boat floating in an ocean. One planet drifting in endless space. A passenger in a car called life.
Anyways, here’s a line from Billie Eilish’s My Future, “Can’t you hear me. I am not coming home,” sings Billie Eilish.
BTW, I think Billie’s right about not going home. Because it may not exist anymore or it only exists in memory now. However, home is where the heart is.
